Cathy’s approach invites clients to move with curiosity and discover joy in the connection between mind and body. She partners with each individual to find movement practices that feel enjoyable, empowering, and supportive. By blending mindfulness with functional training, she helps clients move through daily life with greater ease and confidence through practices such as Pilates, yoga, Tai Chi, TRX, and myofascial release.
Our welcoming studio is thoughtfully designed to support mindful movement and connection. The space is equipped with high-quality Pilates apparatus—including five V2 Max Plus Reformers, a Rack’n Roll Reformer, and a Stability Chair—along with a variety of Pilates accessories and props to support both group classes and private sessions.

Cathy Jewell is the owner of Mindful Movement and has been guiding individuals through movement for over 20 years. She specializes in creating supportive, inclusive experiences that help people connect movement, function, and mindfulness—meeting each person where they are.
Cathy’s approach blends mindful awareness with functional training to support strength, balance, and ease in everyday life. Whether working one-on-one or in small groups, she is passionate about helping clients feel confident, capable, and at home in their bodies.
She is certified through STOTT PILATES® in Reformer and Matwork and has completed advanced training in Stability, Injuries, and Special Populations. Cathy is also a registered yoga instructor, teaches Tai Chi for Balance, and is a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer.
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in Health Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Cathy brings a thoughtful, whole-person perspective to her teaching—supporting both physical and mental well-being.
